SUPREMACY OF THE CONSTITUTION

(i) The sovereignty of AMES in the university lies in the hands of student`s body of the Mathematics Department whose well-being and interests are embodied in the Constitution.

(ii) The constitution shall be the supreme law governing the students body of AMES and other law found to be inconsistent with any provision of this constitution shall by extent of the inconsistency be void and of no effect

(iii) Notwithstanding clause (ii) of this Article the laws and status of the student’s handbook and the SRC reign supreme.
